Ruth McDonagh

Ruth trained and worked in one of the top five law firms in Dublin. She subsequently spent a number of years in Limerick with the largest legal firm in the Mid West before joining MG Ryan & Co. in 2007. She is a Partner in our Litigation, Personal Injury and Dispute Resolution Department. She is an experienced commercial litigator and represents a wide range of private and corporate clients, state bodies and insurance companies in contentious Court proceedings. She has also experience of all forms of alternate dispute resolution. She regularly advises on contractual, product liability, defamation, employment and property related disputes as well as cases involving employer and public liability. She leads the firm’s personal injuries division and has extensive experience in representing clients in the District, Circuit, High and Commercial Courts. Ruth currently sits on the Committee of the Galway Solicitors’ Bar Association.
